This is a call to everyone affected by the EU war against migrants and refugees – at the external borders, and within it’s political and social system.

On 6 of February 2014, many migrants attempted to use collective action to cross the border of the enclave of Ceuta (one of two borders of the European Union on African soil) across the sea. The Spanish Guardia Civil fired on the swimming migrants with rubber bullets and tear gas. Moroccan police, supported by local racists, also participated in the murderous hunt of migrants. At least 15 people were murdered that day, and 50 people are still missing. Dozens more were injured and illegally pushed back to Morocco.

One year after the killings, the families of the victims, witnesses and those struggling for human rights for all, will commemorate this massacre.

This is one step on the way towards the creation of a transnational action platform for migrants, refugees and solidarity initiatives. We will come together to denounce all the crimes and injustices that we are faced with.

Don’t wait for others to rise up, do it yourself!
