CALL FOR BUSTOUR

Hello,

We are refugee activists and supporters from Berlin (Oranienplatz
protest, occupied Ohlauer School).
In April/May we want to do a bus tour through Germany.

We plan to travel in three vans (20 people max.) and go to a different
place every day.

On the tour we want to connect with

  •  Refugee and migrant collectives
  • Anti-fascist & anti-racist groups
  • Refugees Welcome groups
  • People in Lagers

We want to talk about:

  • The situation of refugees in your area.
  •  Your political strategies. What do you do?
  • What has happened in your area over the last years?
  • How is your connection to people inside/outside the Lagers?
  • What are your major problems right now (personal/political)?
  • How do politicians, news and neighbors react?
  • Can we develop a common strategy against new asylum law restrictions,  Lagers and deportation?

We want to know your answers and tell you about the last three years in
Berlin.

To do this bus tour we need…

…information:

  • What do you think we could do together while we’re in your area?
  • Should we drive to Lagers and talk to refugee activists there?
  • Do you know people in the Lagers?
  • Which places in your BUNDESLAND should we visit to push our issue?

Thanks and solidarity!

While we await any attempt to force us into imprisonment as we excise civil disobedience against Apartheid “Residenzpflicht”, we shall embark on a Tour all over Germany to damask the repressive policies against Refugees in Germany.

The Tour will serve as a platform for exchange amongst Refugees with a critical view to the 2015 deceptive Asylum “relief” in comprehensive relation to the horrific Asylum “Compromise” of 1993 up to the hypocritical decision of the German Federal Constitutional Court in 2012.

In this tour, refugees will be informed about the “Adverse faces of Germany” enforced through arbitrary powers at different levels, the system of Refugee Isolation and control, the continuous exploitation of Refugees here and beyond the borders of Europe. Their propaganda is built on the grounds of ignorance of a “civilized” society and at the expense of Refugee’s human dignity.

Now is the time to mobilize Refugee’s solidarity and empower networking within our communities through the intimate understanding that we all face the same problems – even though the situations might appear to be different.

Our experiences have confirmed that nothing good can be expected from Imperialist States like Germany except by direct confrontation and scandal.

As your responsibility to support the revolution of the oppressed you should mobilize refugees and organize discussion events in your region. Announce your dates so as to enable us plan our schedule. We will be glad to join you for exchange.

[Come Together] Mo 23.03.2015 19H: Invitation to our meeting in preparation of political action week « You can’t evict a movement – No to the tightening of Asylum laws! »

Invitation to our meeting in preparation of political action week « You can’t evict a movement – No to the tightening of Asylum laws! »

We invite all interested parties to our next meeting on

the 23th of March at 19:00 pm

in the ND-Gebäude, seminar room 7, in order to discuss possible actions and how we can support each other over the next few months.

After last autumn’s successful extension of the list of “safe countries of origin” in order to deny asylum seekers from the balkans, the german government is planning to further toughen laws for granting asylum in the spring of 2015.

In fact, it almost seems as if Germany’s lawmakers were directly
responding to the racist demands of recent PEGIDA marches, seeing as the
tightening of deportation rules is the focus of this new bill.

Faster, tougher, and more « consequent » – these concepts are to form the
foundation of Germany’s future deportation practices regarding refugees
whose asylum applications are deemed « clearly unfounded », or who entered
Germany by means of a « safe third country ».

Moreover, people who are arbitrarily determined to be flight risks (Anm.
d. Ü.: Flucht, nicht Flug) are to be incarcerated, while the list of
possible clues regarding a probable risk of flight has been expanded so
widely that basically any refugee entering Germany could be treated as
guilty in this regard. Critics of this bill have repeatedly described
the new rules regarding custody-pending-deportation as a vast
« imprisonment program » waiting to happen.

On the other hand, as federal minister of the interior de Maiziere loves
to emphasize, those refugees already living in Germany who are deemed to
have « undertaken significant efforts to integrate into German society »
even without legal resident status, are to enjoy a further strengthening
of their « legal position ».

Small comfort, seeing as it should be a matter of course that those living here in cramped homes for asylum seekers for a number of years (or even decades) should finally receive permanent residency status.

To in turn treat all those who did not happen to enter Germany by air –
or those who are commonly classified as mere « economic refugees » – as
unwelcome guests on a very short list for deportation is a disgrace that
has to be stopped by any means.

This is why we are currently planning a nation-wide campaign and action
week, with which we will voice our fierce opposition to this bill that
is to be debated in the Bundestag on the 6th of March and the 24th of
April, and further discussed in the Bundesrat on the 12th of June – in
order to be be enacted that same month.

With a mass rally on the 18th of April at Oranienplatz in Berlin, which
will also feature performances by a number of musical guests such as
Peter Fox, Irie Revoltes, and Antinational Embassy, our aim is to
increase the pressure on those in power.

We call on everybody to stop the enactment of this bill by any means at
our disposal – participate, be creative, intervene! Leave not a single
stone unturned!

We invite all interested parties to our next meeting on the 23th of
March
at 19:00 pm in the ND-Gebäude, seminar room 7, in order to discuss
possible actions and how we can support each other over the next few
months.

Say NO to these inhumane and racist plans of Germany’s federal
government. Say NO to the proposed bill on « repurposing the right to
stay and termination of residency ».

This bill has to be opposed – by any means necessary!
